After the success of last year’s Music Venue Trust’s Revive Live tours, they’re back with another series of live events to see in the the new year. We get two dates in Colchester, the first of which is Brighton seven piece Keg, playing Three Wise Monkeys on Wednesday. Creating interesting but fun post-punk inspired tracks, the seven piece sound, on record at least, like an interesting, incredibly lively, band. Last year saw them put out their debut EP Assembly on Alcopop Records (who I’m a huge fan of!) which features the tracks Heyshaw with it’s catchy chorus line and slightly mad instrumentation.

Support on the night comes from Anna’s Bones, who I’ve sadly not been able to see yet after they couldn’t make the New Years Eve show, and The Famous People, who were originally from around here but are now based in Brighton.
