Gallery: She’s In Parties, Emma Sampson, Porteous – Three Wise Monkeys, 6/10/2023

On October 6th She’s in Parties headed to Three Wise Monkeys to celebrate the release of their new EP, End Scene. She’s in Parties had an incredible sound right from their very first gig and it’s been great to hear them constantly up it with each performance and each release. Obviously it’s a sold out night, as it should be – they’ve made waves in the local scene, especially with a slightly younger audience. Needless to say, it was an excellent night! Great support too – I’ve caught Porteous live in other bands over the years and I’m always blown away by just how great he is live; incredibly fast, funky keyboard licks and great vocals. I’ve only caught Emma Sampson acoustic before and thought she was one of the best acoustic acts around here so it was great to hear her songs performed with a band who complement the sound perfectly. An all round excellent night!
